Victor Ross is a man learning how to navigate this complex world we all live in. “How to live with fears, how to eliminate fears, how to truly have self love.” As a father he is attempting to raise an absolute gentleman that isn’t afraid of love. As an artist his hope is to inspire others.
Originally from a small town in Missouri, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to pursue a career as an actor and model. Two days before his 21st birthday he welcomed his son into the world. “Being aware of the state of his heart is my number 1 job. I can only teach him what I know. So I am constantly discovering who I am and learning more about my surroundings and what I am here to do.”
He writes poetry as a means to escape, to be real, to be raw with his self and release anything pent up inside. “I am not my exterior. I’m this soul just trying to make it to the next chapter in one piece. If I can write about pieces of my heart and people resonate with it, then I have done my job. If somebody can read a piece and not feel alone knowing somebody on this planet has felt exactly the same way as them, then that is more than I could ever ask for. That brings me peace.”
