Presented in large format (measuring 9.5″ x 13.5″ when folded), this individual fanzine is printed on high quality paper stock (100lb) worthy of being framed, yet affordable enough to be tacked on a wall, reminiscent of the pin-up. Bridging the gap between the tangibility of print and the allure of social media, BASTARD fanzinegives its subjects—each of whom have amassed large social followings due to their dedications and commitments—an opportunity to collaborate on establishing an exciting new platform from which they can tell their stories, promote their causes, and provide fans the opportunity to possess exceptional assemblages of reproduced works, while simultaneously raising money for charities.
There is much more to Rob Evans than what meets the eye, but when he walked into our studio in New York for the first time five years ago, what caught the eye was pure natural beauty. He had just begun his modeling career and following that meeting we knew he was destined for success, as beneath the striking good looks was a humble, honest, and compassionate young man from the U.K. His physique, however, was not exactly that of a traditional male high-fashion model, yet he remained determined to shatter that norm. Now 27, he’s found a nontraditional path to follow that’s led him to be the face of campaigns with brands like Calvin Klein, walk shows with labels such as Givenchy, and even appear as a judge on America’s Next Top Model. We have always rooted for Rob, and as he currently develops a career in the fitness industry, seeking to launch his own brand of fitness clothing and products, we continue to applaud his achievements. We recently caught up with Rob over Skype to discuss how a boy born in Belfast has become an international success. (continued)
