Being Accomplished at Selfless Tasks And Righteous Deeds
A combination of reality and imagination, born out of the human desire to Be Accomplished at Selfless Tasks And Righteous Deeds, BASTARD fanzine chronicles the creativity of those willing to give birth to their passions. To redefine what it means to be a “bastard”, BASTARD fanzine was created to enhance humanity by raising money for charities through the sale of fanzines, branded merchandise and The BASTARD Initiative because it is our belief that no one is illegitimate.
Presented in large format, the independent publication is printed on high quality paper stock worthy of being framed, yet affordable enough to be tacked on a wall, reminiscent of the pin-up. Bridging the gap between the tangibility of print and the allure of social media, BASTARD fanzine gives its subjects—each of whom have amassed large social followings due to their dedications and commitments—an opportunity to collaborate on establishing an exciting new platform from which they can tell their stories, promote their causes, and provide fans the opportunity to possess exceptional assemblages of reproduced works, while simultaneously raising money for charities.
Through a steady stream of content, BASTARD fanzine’s digital platform offers in-depth features and exclusive content, as well as highlights familiar faces and emerging talents who embody the essence of The BASTARD Initiative.
The BASTARD Marketplace offers branded merchandise and items inspired by works presented both in the print publication and on the digital platform. The full limited-edition volume of BASTARD fanzine is available in select stores and online, and the individual fanzines within each volume will each be available exclusively online. Plus, a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of items available in the BASTARD Marketplace will be proudly donated to designated charities via The BASTARD Initiative.
